We all know that the Nintendo Wii had monster sales during the Thanksgiving shopping weekend, but Microsoft’s Xbox 360 faired pretty well also. The latest figures report that the console sold 310,000 units during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, thanks to many great deals on Black Friday from retailers. During the month of October, the 360 only sold 366,000 total units in the entire month. CNBC is reporting that Xbox 360 sales beat Playstation 3 sales by a margin of 2 to 1 during the holiday weekend. The Wii still came out tops, selling 350,000 total units. A SCEA representative is saying that the Playstation 3 was not outsold by such a big margin, but didn’t offer any numerical information to back it up.
