Microsoft’s Xbox 360 outsold the Playstation 3 in Japan in the latest weekly sales results thanks to the release of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. The game debuted on the Japanese charts at number two for the week. In total, 17,673 Xbox 360’s were sold, compared to only 3,718 in the previous week. Sony’s Playstation 3 had a minor drop in sales, as only 17,434 units were sold for the week. It’s not a major difference, but the Xbox 360 posting big numbers is extremely rare on occasion.
