BioWare has made some comments regarding the future of Mass Effect after EA announced yesterday that it was acquiring the developer along with Pandemic Games. BioWare was very blunt, they have no intention of bring Mass Effect to the Playstation 3. “Our focus is pure and simple; it’s to deliver the best game possible for our fans with Mass Effect, and that’s an Xbox 360 exclusive. Microsoft’s a great partner… and they’ve really helped build the value of the product and we’re proud to work with them,” said Ray Muzyka of BioWare.

Muzyka also went on to confirm that Mass Effect will be a trilogy and wants all three titles to release for the Xbox 360. Although BioWare might not want Mass Effect on the Playstation 3, they don’t know what the future will bring. That means, anything can happen now.
