That's 'effin great! I saw the $9.99 part and I was thinking BS but thankfully it is free. Never played it in a week since my sister and nephew are visiting so I will download this on the 23rd.

I'm a Command Sargeant Major. I still haven't gotten over the hump yet to make Warrant. I just need one more medal and I've got it. My score and PPH is good to go for the next few ranks. Just need that one stinking ribbon.
I'm looking for my 10 in a row without dying. I've been up to 9 plenty of times and then I get blown up by an artillery strike. Just now, I got up to 9 and a helicopter got me. I guess if you drop nine in a row the enemy gets suspicious and they start throwing big stuff out there to get you.
I've been playing as a sniper to get this medal. I usually play as a SpecOp or Support soldier.

Nice, I'll have to make sure I get this game back here in a few days.

Rec, yeah the backstab w/ occasional bridge too far or deadly pass routine does get pretty old. I recommend doing a search for a more obscure map w/ a high player count. Usually they're full of people who will avoid those maps. It's great to see the first 3 votes go for Backstab and then just drop off the list.

ST- I think I'm a Chief Warrant Officer. I've got PPH and score to the next few but trying to pick up a 5th medal.

I don't even remember what rank I am. All I know is that it is the one with 5 medals.

I got the 10 in a row kill medal on A Bridge Too Far on top of the Chinese building(with the red chinese writing) with the sniper. I got the 5 kills with one clip at the same time too.

The medal that really pissed me of was the C4 medal. I got it on A Bridge Too Far(again). On base four, I just kept putting C4 on the vehicle that respawns in the garage area. I waited it out in the water, near base 4, and when the vehicle disappeared off of my radar I blew it up.

My favourite maps that hardly anyone plays is Little Big Eye and I think it is Missile Crisis, I am not too sure if it is called that. The map I hate the most is the Oil Refinery.

If I could get someone to put me up on top of a building on Bridge Too Far, that would probably be helpful to me, almost assuring the 10 kill medal because I'd be out of the way of the enemies below.
But I hate competing for the helicopter. So I go out and do the tactical sniper. Shoot.. crawl somewhere.. shoot.. crawl somewhere.. shoot. Basically, one big round of hike, stalk, shoot.
I got my 9 in a row on Backstab from the small Mosque with the tower.
I'd just hang out up there and shoot from the doorway, and retreat back inside the tower.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever played on Missile Crisis. My favorite map is Dammage.. the one that's in the city that's flooded partially.
Harbor's Edge is a fun map too. Real tight and fast.
I actually enjoy bridge too far.

Variation, they're still talking about BF2 coming out in the first quarter of next year for the 360.

I know, and I'll get it as well purely for the graphic update and such, but Im wanting to know if the Xbox version works now in my 360 as I've packed up my old xbox till I move.

I last looked at the backwards compatibility list when they added all those Tom Clancy games and BF2MC isn't on there.

I bet the 360 version of it is going to rock.

To be honest.. heh.. I didn't even notice the eastern or western servers. Oh, you know what I saw that but I didn't know if it meant anything. I just scroll through and find the biggest games that are not on Backstab and pick it.

I had a pretty crappy session last night. I just couldn't get going to amount to anything. Felt like the whole enemy team was nothing but snipers and tanks and I was on the receiving end.
I have bad days I guess. I haven't been able to top the day Duke and I played together. I was coming out with 30-40 points a game.

The only thing cool I could pull off last night was being able to crawl up to the back of a chinese main battle tank and put 3 C4 charges on the back of it. It was parked in an alley and it was shelling everyone. I took the long way around, crawled up to it and put 3 charges on it and hauled it away.

I discovered that 3 charges will blow up the main tanks. I thought it would take more.
Needless to say, that was all I could do last night. The rest was just suck.

Trying to pick up this next medal is killing my pph. I had 3 of the 4 (C4) destroyed and some jerk just started camping the vehicles and rocketing them every time they spawned.

CTF seems good for healing.

Last night I started doing well with the Spec Op and C4's on tanks. As long as the gunner doesn't see me I'll make it. I just haven't been successful enough to get 4 in a row. Three was the highest I could pull off in a round because I was busy with the rest of the game. Had I not been diverted, I may have gotten the fourth. But it was like the team wasn't doing well, so I had to help with the conquest or we'd loose.

I don't like CTF sometimes because once the enemy team looses a point, the whole team seems like they turn into snipers and you can't do much of anything.
I got a lot of points on CTF though for landmine kills though.

Yeah. I went with ST's method for the C4 kills. I hang out by the river on Bridge and rush in to plant some charges.

CTF is ok, but bad for the reason you mentioned. Reason it seems good for healing is staying by the base and heal whoever gets injured when they make a run.

Oh god landmine kills. Go to Deadly Pass, take a chopper or APC and roll to the opposite base. Lay them in front of all spawned vehicles and all along the roads leading out. I think I went like 30 and 3 a few weeks ago.

i still cant figure out how to fly that damn chopper....

and when im riding the chopper and its about to explode...how do i go into parachute after i jump?
