Wladimir Klitschko Vs. Samuel Peter

In my opinion, Sam Peter is the first heavyweight who has a chance to be Tysonesque since Tyson himself.

Watched his last fight and he is just a wrecking machine. The only thing I can see that might make him stumble is he has that Riddik (stupid filter) Bowe look to him that makes you think if this guy makes any serious money, he will eat half of it and blow up like a fatass.

He is fighting the Heavyweight Champions brother: Wladamir "Empty Tank By Round 4" Klitschko. This guy is a big hitter but as I eluded, he runs out of steam real quick.

I expect this to be a quick fight and I would be kind of surprised if it isn't Wladamir's last fight. Peter has the ability to retire fighters with one punch and is no joke.

My first instinct when I saw this guy is that he is going to be big. He looks like he is going to FINALLY clear out the clutter in the heavyweight divisions. He must be the most exciting prospect I have seen since Tyson.

Who cares brother, I'm just looking for a good fight. Haven't seen anything worthwhile in some time, with an exception to a Tyson fight repeat that was on TSN one morning.

You blind as steward said it best wald was taking him to school jab and move, 1-2 move in and hold classic boxing it's what Ali did best.

Peter's was the one that gased out bad, if wald wasn't still gun shy he would have put peters out in the 12th he rocked him with basically the only hook he threw all night.

Also the first knock down was clearly to the back of the head an illegal blow should haven't been a knock down, 2nd has bit of a push, not to mention the 15 rabbit punchs.

Also the reason why peters lost was because he wasn't landing effective punchs it was wald 5 jabs peter 3 wild swingings.

Anyways peters is only 25 he will be back don't give up on your man because of one loss wald fought a great fight.

Klitschko took him to school last night, one of the best heavyweight fights I've seen in a long, long time. The Cotto-Torres fight was fantastic as well.

I recorded both fights, so if anyone wants...

Watched the fight last night. Actually woke my gf up because I started yelling for Peter when he was knocking Klit down in the 5th I think. Great fight, although I wanted Peter to win it.

The main reason I hate the way both Klitchsko's fight is that they hold their opponent down so dam much (which is illega) and he only got 1 warning. This was the first time I've ever seen a boxer knock his opponent down 3 times in a fight without getting knocked down at all and still lose the fight.

Meh, Peters was way too short to fight this guy. He's gonna be the champ soon though, that's for sure.

Klitschko wasn't cheap, because you can't hold all fight long without backing it up. What Wlad did was smart boxing, because he'd lay in a couple good shots and then clutch and grab - whenever he got in a couple big shots Samuel would try to come back hard but Wlad was right there to grab him. Klitschko did it smartly, which is why he won the match easily despite only really being knocked down twice.

If Klitschko should have lost points for holding, then Peter should have lost points for punching to the back of the head, because he was doing that all fight long.

I wasn't talking about clutching, I was talking about when he would push down on Peters' neck / back. That's what got him so tired throughout the fight. Wlad was blocking alot of Peters' attacks, and Peters' shouldn't have gotten away with the punches behind the head - but maybe the ref let them go to even up for what Wlad was doing.

The ref for that match really wasn't that great, the ref from the Torres-Cotto fight should have just done both - he did a great job. Peter's is just a well built boxer, he didn't/doesn't have the stamina to go the distance from what I saw in this fight. He has much to improve on, and Klitschko slowly got him tired and weak with the jabs and occasional body shots. Mix in the constant clutching and grabbing by Wlad and you've got yourself no contest. Samuel kept looking for that one punch that would end the match, and it never came to him that after so long he'd have to just keep punching away. His corner was also pretty useless during the fight, throwing him the same old bullshit round after round. I thought it was pretty cool that Vitali Klitschko was right there the entire fight for Wlad.

Holding is illegal but when your the brother of the great white hope, you probably will not get called on it. I am not sure how you can say grabbing and holding is great strategy and then cry and moan when that same strategy gets him hit behing the head.

I just watched the Cotto fight and that was classic. Damn, those boys beat the hell out of each other.

The ref obviously decided to let both go, because he can't call one thing and let the other go. He let both offset each other, but Wlad had the better strategy the entire fight - and stamina.

Brewster is fighting his mandatory in germany today are they showing it in the US im gonna download it from Tc-boxing should be a good fight Brewster is like peters in alot of ways man he destroyed golota bad a few months back.

Yea, heard about Brewster fighting and it won't be shown in the US that I've heard of. HBO or Showtime are not covering it, so I doubt anyone else will.
