Goldeneye 007 could be bound for Xbox Live Arcade
Numerous sources over the last few days have indicated that Goldeneye 007, the classic Nintendo 64 shooter, will be brought to the Xbox Live Arcade by Rare. Not only that, but it's possible that Rare will be bringing other popular old franchises to the XBLA as well.
Now you might be thinking that it's not possible, there are too many hoops to jump through to get Goldeneye to the Xbox Live Arcade. Well, we'll see how things turn out in the next little while. Here's the deal, as Microsoft owns Rare, who developed the game in the first place. Activision now owns the license for James Bond titles. It's rumored that the three have come to an agreement to bring the game to the Xbox Live Arcade before the next-gen version is released later this year.
It's also rumored that Goldeneye 007 would come complete with updated graphics and Xbox Live multiplayer. Other rumors are speculating that Rare will be bringing other franchises, like Banjo-Kazooie, to the Xbox Live Arcade as well.
Xbox Circle will have more as it develops.
