Another step forward in the race to crack open the PSP: ps2nfo.com user Paradox worked out how to get a dump from a UMD disc, and has released the ISO files for several PSP games (Wipeout: Pure US, Ridge Racers Japanese, and Vampire Chronicles: The Chaos Tower Japanese). Also of note, UMD discs use the standard ISO9669 format, so the released ISOs can be burned to regular CDs or DVDs. Know that the games are not yet playable in this format, but it’s a big step forward now that all the reverse engineers out there can get their hands on this stuff.
Sucks still no way to play them....yet...definitely a big a step though :D

The only way they are going to be able to use them is with something modded right ...
Sony is never going to allow any burnable UMD's

maybe someone will find out a way to delete the discs... and then sell them in bulk... and somehow write it to it

i think the hardest one of all time was the dreamcast....no one's ever gonna figure out how to bootleg games for that system

You mean beat off on your sister. Ask her if she ever feels sticky when she wakes up. I really don't see what good these iso's are right now, noone every developed perfect PS1 emulation much less a more advanced system.

Only reason this happened is cause the release group actually got ahold *cough* of a UMD reader and made an image.
I'm still waiting for my emulators damnit >_<

An emulator will surely be built in the coming weeks. I have an idea.. we should start a pool for when the XO will be cracked.

Hard to say before MS says what kind of precedures they take to prevent it from happening. Yes it'll happpen like every other system, but how long....
PSP alone is going on just over a month. I don't count it as total cracked yet cause I still don't have my damn emulators >_<
Wild guess before any REAL usefull cracks...... 3 months.
