Tried to DL, got an alert at the bottom after 1 minute... "Can't Download Dead Rising Demo"
Queued up SFII, and then Dead Rising again. Hope it works, I can't wait for this game.
EDIT: i think my HDD was just full. Damn. Had to delete a few demos. No big loss :D

WOOHOO! Hell yeah. I've been waiting for this bad boy. Time to try this game out. I hope it doesn't run slow like most of you are saying it's running. Probably because so many people are downloading it.
Edit: Yeah that wasn't too long. I guess less people are downloading it now or whatever. Well I've played the demo. Over and Over and Over. I wanted to explore the fullest and see all the weapons as well as all the endings of the trailer. You run into the begginning of three boss battles (not at the same time) or you waste too much time which causes you to fail the mission and the guy you are trying to help becomes a zombie. Those are the four endings. The weapons are awesome and I love how you use the bowling ball, shopping cart, and skateboard. Very interesting items and I think the game will be this times twenty.

Well i must say i thought the game was tedious, boring and very very slow. Like fighting through syrup.
I remember watching the trailers and thinking "Wow, that's a lot of zombies on screen at once" but to be honest, Ninety Nine Nights has way more going on, is faster and has much better lighting and effects. Dead Rising just doesn't impress with the scale anymore.
I found the combat to be dull too, i hate to say it, but i thought State of Emergency plays better than this. Yes there is a heck of a lot of variety in the way you can kill and the things you can do but in the grand scheme of things, if the object of the game is to get from point a to point b to rescue someone, does it really matter that there are a hundred different handbags, shoes or jewels you can throw at people to get there?
I was expecting this game to be awesome and it was on my list of games to buy. Saints Row was on my list of games to avoid. Having played both demos, i can safely say i'll be buying Saints Row now and leaving Dead Rising alone. I realise not everyone is going to agree with my opinions but there you have it.

Seemed fun for 20minutes or so. Not sure I would buy this one even at a huge discount, just not my cup-of-tea.

I guess I can see how everyone will see it getting boring, but it's the demo. There's still tons of freakin weapons out there to use. There's a couple of hidden ones in the demo like the Katana, the Uzi, "Spitfire", "Untouchable", and that's it but they are all really sweet. There is also more to the game then the demo because there is still the cool bosses and the survivors to save. Including riding cars, motorcycles, and bicycles.
It doesn't matter if you guys don't like it though I'm just saying there's more to it then the demo. The demo doesn't do justice to the game. And if the damn game had some lines of multiplayer it in it would sell WAY more then it's going to today. Still there's tons of people I know anticipating it. I'm picking it up.
