To those that downloaded the Audioslave - Revelations Video

Tell me that you too are extremely disappointed with the content. Seriously, they only give about 20 seconds of the Revelations song and load the video with interviews of the band with the song running on extreme low in the background. Then the cut the video off at the end.

This probably was done for a number of reasons.

1) Revelations CD is out first week of September
2) Original Fire, another song off the new CD, is already on stations continent-wide
3) Revealing 2 full songs before the CD is even released was obviously not in their interest
4) They can all suck cock

Unfortunately you're right. Extremely disappointed because after hearing Audioslave was going to be featured I was expecting something good.

I'm personally quite happy with it.

I didn't think they would play the whole song anyways because of everything you mentioned.....including number 4. Mainly #2 though.

The tempo and vibe of the song was fantastic from the little you get though, much better then Original Fire.

Agreed on the Revelations song...haven't heard "Original Fire" yet though.

However, I do love the fact that they're releasing albums every year (solid ones too so far) just like Tom said. Getting that vibe from the road and just bringing it right into the studio. Worked for Zeppelin, worked for Aerosmith and seems to be working with Audioslave.
