Hi!
I'm Denis from Load Inc (http://www.loadinc.net).
Our game "Mad Tracks" is slowly but surely rolling your way on your XBLA.
Need to ask a question to the dev team behind it? Here I am.
Need to see how it looks on our Xbox? Go! (http://www.loadinc.net/ScreenshotsHD/)
Have a fantastic day!
Denis.

You're probably refering to "ReVolt".
It was a major inspiration for us. We played this game untill we got blisters!!
Have a fantastic day!
Ps: yes it's for real & yes I am from that dev team

Welcome aboard Denis. Good to see you found your way here.
I won't bother with asking for a date of release as XBLA devs never really know until the week it's going to get released, so let me ask this: What has your team worked on in the past? And besides ReVolt, what else did you use as inspiration for the game? The screens/layout remind me alot of Marble Blast Ultra, which is a good thing.

Hum... Don't bother asking me for a release date... (!!)
But I promise I will tell you as soon as I know!
Our team is mostly from UbiSoft. We worked on 'F1 Grand Prix', 'Monaco GP' and 'POD' to name a few. But also on non-car games like 'Fatal Frame', 'Raging Blades' or 'Rygar'.
Our inspirations are numerous:
ReVolt
Micro Machine
Mario Kart
Mario Party
POD
TrackMania
Marble Blast
Super Monkey Ball
And of course GT4 (that's why 'Mad Tracks' look so similar).
Have a good day!

I took a look at the screens and read up on some of the stuff about this and all and then I seen this on another forum.
* Multiplayer up to 4 only split screen (we promise the next title will be live, we have been working on it).
* High rez HDTV real time 3D & optimized frame rate (thanks to the Xbox pa-wer)

I'm a sad man if it isn't a chance of it being on Live.
Great looking game and will be playing, but I'll be sulking too.

Denis, any response to this?
Several reasons why Mad Tracks will not be Live.
1. just like all dev team, we're on our learning curve. Meaning even if we did extensive dev in a past life on PSX, PS2, Xbox and GC, we're still noobs on 360.
2. Money - I mean time - no, I mean money - oops, nope, time. Whatever. It takes a while to implement Live. It takes time to test it. It takes time to do it right. We don't have the money (I mean the time).
3. We love to frustrate players (my AD told me to say this).
To make it up, there will be 43 Leaderboards and 4 easter eggs!
The main difference with an XBLA title is that we are both Developer and Publisher. This means we have to fund the game. That's ok when you're ID or Blizzard, but for us, it's a tremendous effort (can you see the tear on the corner of my eye?). We don't want to juggle with too many balls.
Cheers guys!

Hey!
Today was not a major breaking news kind of day, but we managed to add a corporate presentation at launch.
Kind of nice flaming logo, you'll see.
Next step is Mad Tracks leaving for Seattle (scheduled next monday) for the first step of the final approval stages...
Cheers,
Denis.

Looks like the game is moving along quite nicely. Do you think there's quite a bit of interest of the game, or will it soon peak when Microsoft gives light about it on Xbox.com?

Microsoft talking about us on Xbox.com would help. They will eventualy ;)
But I'm not waiting around for things to happen.
For example, you can go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Tracks#Mad_Tracks_Xbox_Live_Arcade you can implement whatever news or piece of info you have on Mad Tracks XBLA.
This could be our 'referal page'.
Anyone can edit it - why don't you?
The game looks better and better everyday, I wish you could have it now.
Have a great day,
Denis.

You need to have so many posts before your "title" changes to something different.

Denis is it true that the game is delayed and that Microsoft has teamed up with Load Inc. to add a live multiplayer component to the game?

Indeed, the game is postponed several months in order to implement Live.
You asked for it, you'll get it. That's how we do it at Load Inc. :high5:

You said that you were looking to have the game sell at around 800 Microsoft Points. Could be possibly see the game retail now for 1200 Points with multiplayer added?

No, the price will not be affected by the Live implementation.
On the other hand, price has not yet been decided.

Well this sure is good news. I know I logged several hours on many hours on that one XBL game in beta.
Now just so you know PLEASE ADD more than 4 people live. I am looking for 12 at least!!!! Now I have asked for it... MAKE IT HAPPEN!

(...) Now just so you know PLEASE ADD more than 4 people live. I am looking for 12 at least!!!! (...)
Technicaly speaking, it's always the last little step that will ask for the greatest efforts.
For example, getting that last frame per second is sometimes grueling.
Xbox360 has strict requirements that ensure game consistancy and gamer comfort.
One of them is how smooth a Live game has to be. In the case of Mad Tracks, smoothness of the gaming experience is affected by the number of cars.
Now we're not saying we can't do 8 cars, it will probably be a matter of how big is that last little step
(was this clear to anyone?)
