This movie looks idiotic. I honestly can't believe Angelina Jolie is in it. Brad Pitt has steadily gone downhill since his Seven Years in Tibet, Legends of the Fall and A River Runs Through It Days.

All the lines in the commercial sound like something from a Disney movie. A CHEESY Disney movie. you know, like one of those sequels that never hit theatres.

I am going to take a shot at the story:

Mr. and Mrs. Smith, contract killers, blah blah, they get their next targets, which are each other...blah blah...after many AWESOME!!1111 fight scenes, they team up to take down their own employers. They win, happy ending. Cliff hanger.

I saw the movie yesterday. It was actually pretty good. It's not believable in any sense, but it is an action movie. It does try to play loosely as a love story, just a little to keep the woman satisfied, but the movie still revolves around tearing shit up and big explosions.
Vince Vaughn was the comic relief in the film, but there was enough funny moments to keep things interesting.
The big fight scene in the house.. was good. Final shootout, big car chase.. it was all pretty good.

All I can say was that my wife and I saw it, we both liked it. It's not academy award material, but there was enough going on to keep us both and our disimiliar taste in movies occupied.
