It's almost as though I have seen and posted in this exact same thread somewhere before..... hmmmmm.......
anyway, Reggie is one of my favorite players and he has faced a ton of adversity throughout his career in indy, yet he chose to stay there. death threats, new house getting burned to the ground, etc.
It takes some class for a man to stay with a team after all that, which happened during contract negotiations, no less.

I say he comes back for one more. I hope, at least. Reggie is THE reason I started to get into basketball. I met Rick Smits when he was with Indiana in his rookie season (he went to school 5 minutes from me) and got to see Reggie play against the Knicks back when I was way young. Odd looking guy, but the 2nd best clutch player ever- next to Jordan, of course.

I have the feeling he'll play one more season. They never played with their full team this year and didn't reach their potential. Miller's a true player and that thought should grind on him during this off season.

Nope, or else he would have done it in 98 and won the ring. Guess not, so you lose.
And I was thinking the same thing Snake, until I heard him in the post-game last night. Seems like he's done :(

Let him ruminate in the off season about this thing. It may just work on his nerves and change his mind.

ThinksPink your wrong and bringing up 98 is a horrible phlucking point if you even call it that. How does jordan having a better coach and roleplayers decide that he is more clutch then reggie miller. Being clutch is about individual ability and maybe jordan would have hit all thos GW shots reggie hit if he was in that position but he wasnt. I want to say reggie has more game winning shots then jordan, and i am damn positive he does, but i cant find any statistics on it online. Dont bring a team effort into an individual aspect.....Stick to baseball bro
-edit- wtf you changed your name ThinksPink? -double edit- ThinksPink the friendly ghost -tripple edit- thats so gay it changed Cassper to thinkspink

I think you meant to put that the other way around because it contradicts the rest of your post I believe....
however, I agree with you about Reggie's clutchness.

F no - I won't stick with just baseball, son. Not when I was following hoops just as much back then, if not even more. Jordan had WAY more GW shots in the playoffs, hands down. When his team sucked it up, MJ would come out scoring 60 points - even having the flu - vs. the Knicks. Yea, Reggie had his clutch 3's, and I'll never forget the 3 3's in the last 10 seconds vs. the Knicks, but both are great - Jordan just won more rings using his clutch efforts. Reggie biggest downfall, just like Stockton, Mailman, Ewing and Barkley - they never had the team to get them that ring. Dam shame too
*and yea, Jafo was messing around with the word replacements - he thinks he's cute
