I have always enjoyed anime, from the first movie I saw (Akira) to the many shows I download they have always entertained me. I like the action/violence the most usually, but the deeper thought provoking shows are also good. From giant fighting robots to medieval demonic themes, anime brimes with fresh imagination.
Lately I have been downloading Naruto over the net since it is not on tv.
Movies I like...
Akira, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Jin Roh The Wolf Brigade, Blood: The last Vampire, Spriggan and many many more.
Great Shows...
Naruto, FLCL, Berserk, Trigun, InuYasha, Hellsing and several others I can't think of.

I can't believe some of the twists and turns leading up to this. I never saw them coming and still have doubts.

I can't believe some of the twists and turns leading up to this. I never saw them coming and still have doubts.
Yea, there have been a lot of twists lately. It seems since the beginning Naruto has become more mainstream though. The first 20-ish episodes (Can't remember exactly) literally made me cry. Nothing in the show has came close since.

Yea. The fight scenes have become much better than they used to be and they were top-notch in the beginning. The story, however, has become worse. You know what though? It's still top-notch. That just goes to show how good Naruto really is.

If I could pick one thing that pisses me off is all the time they waste going back over and over through stuff that we already know. Like after waiting two weeks for an episode is bad enough, then you lose 15mins to rehashing old news. They do it all the time.

You all need to check out Cromartie High. The anime and the manga, because they actually contain different stories. As funny as anything Adult Swim does. Hopefully they'll pick it up.


And Darkside, Beserk is the shiznitch. I've been reading the manga and it's even more sinister than the show. I wish they'd continue the anime version, though.

Yea. It has become more and more frequent, and it takes up more and more of the show. They do it to help the storyline, but really anyone over ten can put two and two together without having to re-hash every last piece of information over again. Now that this large chunk of the storyline is over with, hopefully they fix that.

For starters, young Guts gets raped by this huge black dude from the mercenary camp, only to find out later that Gambino pimped him out to the guy. I think it explains why he can't stand for strangers to touch him.

ANy of the Gundam Series are at the top of my lists ... also Hellsing is a great show ... check out Read or Die ... its a 4 part series that I have seen on Cartoon Network a few times

ONe of the best series is Ruorin Kenshin ... series is sweet. Set in MEiji era Japan with some really sweet characters and a great storyline

Need some links for the Naruto Series ... want to start watching that

Also .. I have the boxed set of Evangelion which is the shit ... if you like the more fantasy based anime ... check out Escaflowne or the Record of Lodoss War .... 2 great series

Ghost in the SHell and the follow up series "Stand Alone COmplex" are pretty dope also

I really like the way Adult Swim has understood the importance of seein the entire series and they have done a good job getting new shows also. Witch Hunter RObin was a good series

Are you downloading from Dattebayo? If so, you were probably banned due to a setting enabled in a new version of Azureus by default.

Dragonball Z is the most overrated anime ever
He didn't mean it was good, he meant that I used to watch it. I do agree though. The storyline to DBZ is kind of, well, crap.

I love the style of any good anime. The action genre is my favorite. Shinichiro Watanabe is the man.
