Fucking ethernet cable broke

That part of the ethernet cable that makes that snap when you insert it into the port of the 360 broke, but that isn't the real issue.

The 360 is on another level of the house, no where near the actual pc. I have this ethernet cable (25 foot) running through the house.

Is there some way I can fix this. It'll fit inside the port of the 360, but it wont stay in, it comes out a little.

Shorten the cable a bit, cut the end off and crimp a new one.

I don't know how to do that, seriously. There must be an easier way.

Tape it into the port. Being that you don't have crimpers - just insert it and tape it over the port. If you fold it near the plastic end, you can tape it snuggly.

Do as Casper said, then get your ass out to Futureshop and get a new RJ45 cable.

Then stop whining and go get a new one. This is why I have a set of crimpers. But soon enough I'll be trading them in once I go wireless.
