"Sleek, thin, horizontal, backwards compatible and online enabled - more details straight from Nintendo inside!http://www.computerandvideogames.com/news/images/pad.gif"
Not to be outdone by the Xbox 360, Nintendo leaked a few juicy details on their Revolution. Perrin Kaplin, Nintendo of America’s VP for corporate affairs, went on record with the following tidbits:
Wireless controllers
Backwards compatibility
Online built in
Sleek design that will stand on its side (she said the size would be the same as 3 DVD cases sitting on top of each other)
DVD format discs (wow)
According to the CVG piece, we may also see more of the Revolution than we think at E3

Good. It sounds interesting. I'll probably buy it after they drop the price to 100 bucks and I can get it used for 70, just like the last one.

Kraft, you evil man. Support those poor bastards, and do it NOW!
....or not.
I'll surely pick one up. I still think that the majority of titles that come out for the Cube are of the highest quality out there. Pikmin 2 is just incredible on all levels. Tales of Symphonia is one quality piece of RPG madness. Metroid Prime is simply out of control cool. F-Zero GX is one of the craziest, hardest, fastest racers ever. Viewtiful Joe is like a hyper version of all the games I played and adored when I was a kid. I loved Wind Waker (though many hate it), and RE4 kicked tons of ass. And w/ Zelda, Geist, Killer 7, and Fire Emblem on the way, my Cube's days are far from over.
So, yeah, I'm pretty enthusiastic about the Revolution. Just the news of BC is great to me. The PS3 is by far the least interesting of the three consoles, but I'm equally looking forward to the Revolution and the 360.

I'm VERY interested to see what Nintendo has in store, they are a generation ahead of themselves IMO though.

I'm not getting it. Lack of 3rd party support when they suck at first party = me not buying. I should've learned my lesson with N64, but I bought a Cube anyways. And the great games for it were not made by Nintendo at all (except Animal Crossing), so I'm not buying.

Now that I have a job, I might buy all three next gens. It will be stupid though, considering I can't (shouldn't) bring that much **** to college, which I'll start Fall 2006.

I'm kind of wondering if they'll finally redeem themselves. I hope so, I was a Nintendo fanboy back in the 64 days. Hell, I had to be talked into the Xbox. I was going Gamecube all the way.
I do miss Zelda though. :(

I'm not very optimistic. I'll probably buy it (rather, my wife will make me buy it) for the next Mario Kart. I played Mario Kart: DD with her every night for about four months straight. That game is out of this world.

Other than Zelda why buy a Nintendo? I know it will be tough to miss another epic Mario game seeing as how they are so rare. :D

rare and silicon knights announced their nintendo departure and joined up with microsoft. Nintendo has nothing left except first party games, which im sorry, are plainly repetitive. I can honestly say im not at all excited about the next zelda, the next prime, the next mario either. the ones one the cube were nice. The ones for n64 were revolutionary, but its getting old.
When i see fresh games like gears of war, or condemned or F.E.A.R. , thats what i look forward too. We'll see what the revolution has to offer, but it has to be seriously revolutionary to get me to give a damn, nd form the sound of the systems shape, it just seems like another console (they all look similar this generation) that can stand on its side.
