I don't like the generalization of peanuts in this poll. Are we talking about some nice honey roasted peanuts, salted peanuts, bbq peanuts, dry roasted peanuts, or those crappy squirrel feeding peanuts?

The cashew is a single entity, and in all fairness cannot compete against the many strains and variations of the peanut.

Yes, Mr. Peanut has controlled the market for years, it was all a diabolical plan construed to dominate the Asian nut cartel.

Mr. Peanut was actually part of the 堅果 (Nut triad). After a major fallout, he split ways with the Cashew and Almond families, and slowly dominated the market.

His monocle was actually only worn after a battle with a dastardly macadamia nut left him visually impaired in one eye.
