The Godfather 2 is currently in development, but what consoles the sequel will grace is still not known at this point. At the moment, EA is currently recouping the development costs for The Godfather by using the game engine in other franchises.

"The open-world engine was built from the ground up for The Godfather, and is now being used by five different franchises, including The Simpsons.
"The Godfather 2 is also in development currently, though timing is unknown," said the analyst."</em>
