It has been quite some time since gamers have had any news on Sonic the Hedgehog making its way over to the Xbox Live Arcade. It looks as if SEGA will be launching a 'SEGA Vintage Collection' line of games and Sonic will be one of the main titles in the collection of games. Any word on a potential release date? Well, we're just going to have to wait a little longer.

Talk about beating a franchise into the ground. I've only (re)bought Sonic once and that was for the Sega Classics Collection on PS2. This game has been on too many platforms to count, I can't believe they're trying to put it on XBLA.
...it does look mighty fine in those HD screens though...

Eh, it looks good, but the problem I have with most XBLA remakes are that they aren't made at 1080i - they don't fit them for the true hi-res. It's annoying to have a 52" and not have it fit comfortably on the whole screen.
I'll pass, but some other old titles coming out I'll probably grab.
