I fixed my 360 about a month ago, and it has been working perfect, so I thought that I would put up the tutorial in here so if anyone has problems then you could use it. I got the three red lights, so this saved me from having to send it to Microsoft and pay the $140 to get it fixed.
Forum with tutorial link in it (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=599216)
I also have pictures from fixing it. Just a few when I was taking a break or waiting for it to turn on, but if you are interested, take a look.

If any of you try this fix and have any questions, just let me know. I would be glad to help you. In all the fix probably takes about an hour to do, and it cost me $16.
I should mention that the first link in the forum takes you to a megaupload file that has a word document. That is the one I used. If you don't know how to open the 360, there are a ton of links online that tell you how to do that. The second one is a PDF file from a blog. Just pick which ever one you want. They are the same file.
