I've read the reviews, learned a bit, and am starting to narrow it down.
The thing is, I listen to music enough for me to warrant spending a few extra bucks for a decent pair of headphones, and now that I have some spare cash, I'm looking to buy.
As it stands, I've been pretty impressed by what everyone's saying about a few headphones in particular.
First pair I'm looking at are the Sennheiser HD-555's.

They're anywhere from $110-$160, which is the price range I'm comfortable with. From the numerous sites I've been to I've read a number of good reviews. Problem is, I think I would need a headphone amplifier for these because one of the devices I'd be listening to them with would be my Ipod, which would get drained pretty fast by these things.
The other pair are the Shure E3c Sound Isolating Earphones

Those run anywhere from $100-$200. Again, good reviews, atleast from Amazon.com, but I've got a few restraints. First off, from the brief reading I've done, apparently the lack of airflow to these Sound Isolating headphones causes a loss in sound quality that open headphones (like the Sennheisers) have.
If any of you have walked my path already and have some info or suggestions you'd like to make, please do.
