First and foremost - XboxCircle.com is not responsible for any transactions that take place on this site. Anyone involved in a trade is doing so at his/her's own discretion.

Start with an asking price, or game that is desired. Best offer posts are pointless and get nowhere without 10 posts of the same question.
Except as noted, thread crapping will not be tolerated. If you are not interested in buying or selling, or you have nothing positive to say, STAY OUT OF THE THREAD! If you think the asking price is too high, or you want to make a lowball offer, contact the seller via email or PM.
Some reasons why "thread crapping" may be ok:
- If you are positive the person is a troll. If you're not sure but 'think' they are, PM a staff member or report their post by clicking on the icon.
- Making a newbie aware of the rules (but do so politely).
Multiple Threads -- Please keep no more than one thread of any type (FS, FT, WTB, etc.) active at the same time. For example, you might have a FS thread and a WTB thread. Posting more unfairly pushes other members' threads further down. Please be considerate of your fellow members. And remember, you can edit your thread title and original post to make any additions or changes.
Please use the SEARCH feature.
Please handle all transactions with common sense.
Please avoid flaming or useless, bandwidth wasting posts, such as "in-before-the-lock" ( IBTL ).
Please update your threads when you have sold your items or found what you wanted.
If your thread grows too long or too old for easy navigation, start a new thread, and let the old one fall away. If necessary, you can add edit the original posts to include a link from one thread to the other.

Trading Rules:
You MUST display your profile with a valid email address.
You MUST post a price for ALL FS deals and FS/FT deals.
You cannot sell something you do not have in your immediate possession.
No bootleg software distribution. Anyone who knowingly buys, sells, trades, or distributes bootlegged (Warez) software through this forum will be suspended or permanently banned at our discretion.
No sales or trades of NFR (Not For Resale / Retail distribution) software. If you are caught selling or trading this type of software you will be suspended or permanently banned at our discretion.
No sales of "CD keys" without the original CD.
No spamming or trolling.
No misleading thread titles. (nude pics, goats, etc.)
No excessive bumping of your own thread. No more than once every 2 days.
No "contest or giveaway" threads.
No coupon (code) sales – this includes 2 month XBL trial keys.
No alcohol, tobacco, firearm, or any weapons sales.
No Pornographic (XXX) items.

Please Note: PayPal's terms of service now prohibit charging buyers a "service fee" or "service charge."

Yup,. but that's up for the members. I'll start putting them up when trades start happening. I'd prefer to keep it so that they have to email/PM staff to get that person up as a good trader, as I think it'd be easier to read one post than numerous ones.

i.e.

Stifler - 1 good trade (4/11/05), 1 bad trade (5/1/05)
fiXXXer - 3 good trades (dates), 0 bad trades

sound better? Or maybe comments in user profiles left by staff only.

I think the community has always been on the up and up about trades. Sure, there's the occasional loser who won't go through w/ his part of the deal, but I don't see why the staff should get involved at all, outside of perhaps helping members chase down delinquent traders.

But, whatever, do what you guys need to do. Just glad to see this forum up.

Either system works for me, but honestly, I don't see myself tracking down deatbeat traders. I don't want to be the trade police force.

I guess if someone bails on a trade, or fucks someone over, and there is hard proof, we can take action and ban the person, but other than that, there is not much more I would be willing to do.

Should sticky this and after a few trades get done, we should make the "good traders list" thred.

Yeah, somebody start a good trader's list, or I'm gonna do it. :p

Just got my copy of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance from Brevity. Excellent trade, no hitches whatsoever. Top notch trader.
