1. The 'Tapeworm' project between Maynard and Trent Reznor falling apart
2. Frances The Mute
3. Commercialization of most music in general
4. The lack of a new Tool album

That's all I've got.

The 'tapeworm' project would have been pretty interesting to see, I'm a fan of both NIN and Tool, so seeing a collaboration between a few of the members would be monumental.

Frances The Mute, well, the album was just dissapointing after such a strong debut. There were numerous parts of the CD with little to no sound, which to a degree I can excuse, but it was just over the top and annoying. De-Loused in the Comatorium was full of energy from the first song to the last, while Frances The Mute was just a mess. It had plenty of good parts to it, but you had to sit through minutes and minutes of a sound here and there or just plain silence to get to them.

Commercialization of music? Eh, typical rant I guess. I think I'm just sick of seeing big record labels destroy bands. Whatever's in is what the industry pushes, and you get a lot of the same. The fact that the music industry is an industry at all is sad.

As for the lack of a new Tool album. . . I couldn't think of much more to complain about.

On the tip of the 'commercialization of music', we've heard Beatles songs played to ads that you know would have Lennon going 'rinse-cycle' in his grave.

So, yeah, it's commercial. Don't buy crap, I say. Make your own judgements. I'd be listening to 50 Cent if I didn't follow my own strip musically. As it is, local music gets me the most, and there are a great pocketful of national acts that can stand up to the weather (Ween, Built to Spill, Wilco, The Flaming Lips, Gorillaz, Modest Mouse...etc.).

1.Joe Strummer's death=PUNK IS TRULY DEAD

The bad:

1. The murder of Dimebag Darrell
2. Metallica betrays it's fans through the Napster debacle
3. Henry Rollins ditches the musicians behind "Come in and Burn" and "Weight" for rock band Mother Superior to provide his driving force.
4. Axel Rose tries to prove he's still Guns and Roses... and fails.
5. Jessica Simpson's sister that fucked up on SNL.

The good:

1. Velvet Revolver rises from the ashes and reclaims rock music..
2. Audioslave emerges from the void left by Soundgarden and RATM.
3. Dream Theater pushes prog-rock to atmospheric levels when Images and Words is released mainstream.
4. Living Colour releases Collide0Scope after 10 year hiatus.
5. Paul Simon's Graceland album.

oh man, its time for my good top 5

5. Coldplay made me love music again.
4.The White Stripes-with 'White Blood Cells' and 'Elephant' they proved that grunge, blues and rock can sound awesome.
3.The Rolling Stones-God bless this band. They are still going today, and no matter what anyone says: they can still rock your f*cking socks in old age.
2. The Beatles made 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.' Possibly the best album ever thought of. With 35 minutes of music, they changed the world.
1.Dave Grohl. Got over Nirvana, made the Foo Fighters, released some great albums, fought Courtney 'phycho' Love, rocked the drums again with Queens of the Stone Age and is still one of the most respected musicians to date.

wierdest moment:

Prince turns himself into a symbol.......I cant even type it out, but i wish my keyboard had that sign to remind everyone of what it looked like.

No it was a damn shame about Elliott Smith, I guess I should have stated whether I was for or against it, I figured it was obvious. And yes I laughed when Aaiyah bite it, just like that Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez. Good days for me :D
