Married...with Children - The Complete 4th Season was officially announced yesterday, but the cover art was not available just yet. Now Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has sent it on over, and we're picking ourselves up off the floor from laughing at it! Good job on the art.

We also have the back-of-the-box description of the set, and it describes it well. They correctly mention Ted McGinley's guest shot as a different character in the Christmas episode "It's a Bundyful Life", a full year before he would permanently join the cast as "Jefferson D'Arcy".

However, Sony missed mentioning my favorite guest star in that episode: Sam Kinison in top (television-friendly) form, just a few years prior to his untimely death in an accident caused by a drunk driver. Sam Kinison was originally chosen to play Al Bundy, believe it or not!

Loud-mouthed. Obnoxious. More vulgar than ever. We wouldn't have them any other way. Make room on the couch for Married With Children: The Complete Fourth Season, another hilarious helping of demented domestic dysfunction as only as the comically crude Bundys can deliver. Loaded with 23 envelope-pushing episodes on a three-disc collector's set, this deluxe collector's edition features uproarious classics like "Hot Off the Grill," "Dead Men Don't Do Aerobics," and special two-parter "It's A Bundyful Life," as Al, Peg, Kelly and Bud manage to turn domestic bliss into a battlefield, while nosy neighbor Steve finally leaves Marcy and the 'burbs for good! Starring Kate Sagal ("8 Simple Rules"), Christina Applegate (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy), and Ed O'Neill (Spartan) and sexy guest-stars like Traci Lords, Tiffany Amber Thiessen, and Ted McGinley, Married With Children: The Complete Fourth Season reminds us why those darn Bundys are too hot to handle after all these years!

MWC was funnier than family guy and almost as good as Seinfeld. I used to love catching reruns.

Seinfeld got a hell of a lot more respect than Married with Children, but I don't recall laughing as hard to Seinfeld as I did to Married with Children. It it only had a better timeslot and different network broadcast day, it would have been even more popular.

Funny enough, MWC was a show I just could never get into. I only watched it on occasion when I needed something to wank too. The mother was one piece of ass.

PEG Bundy? Applegate is a hell of a lot better than Sagal.

One of my all-time favorite shows. Time to add some of these to my DVD collection.

I liked MWC when it was on, but it just doesn't have any lasting appeal for me.
