I was a bit skeptical when I started hearing about a Xbox 360 tilt controller, but it seems Adam Thole (http://www.adamthole.com/), a college student at Purdue has done just that:

As you can see, Adam has come a long way. Shocked by the response he decided to sell it on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290075115504) for a profit. He has posted some basic instructions along with videos on blog.
Honestly, the Full Auto demo is, well, just awesome.
