does anyone have an intercooler fan for their 360 and if so have you had any problems with it. I am thinking about buying one but someone one live told me that it can start fires but who knows if he was just messing with me or telling me the truth

I haven't had the need for it. It will only make the system louder and as long as you have proper ventilation for it, you should be fine without one.

I have an Intercooler plugged into the back of my 360. It's been on there running silently since June. It just snaps in and you plug the AC cord into the back of the Intercooler. It still works and I have no complaints. I can't really say if it's making a difference because I got it the same day I got the 360 so I don't have a base reference.
But, it hasn't caught fire and it's been running for months now.

Becareful with the Nyko one, they've admited their united has damaged some 360s.
