So, I'm a freaking lunatic. I've been hemorraghing money looking for a good, new gaming fix. This rampage has lead me into the realm of the DS, which I purchased in the new, lovely blue (which came w/ Super Mario 64 DS...thanks Ninty).

Of course, this game I played back in the day, and it served as mostly an excuse to drop a wad of dough on the system itself. Happy w/ my purchase, but frantic to try out something a little deeper than Wario, I opted to pick up Kirby Canvas Curse.

Mind you, I'm only about an hour into the game, but so far, it's simply unlike ANYTHING I've ever played. Extremely addictive little piece of software.

I highly recommend the game to any owner of a DS. It is - right now - THE must have DS title, multiplayer or no. Not one single button is necessary to play the game, it's all accomplished via the stylus.

So, basically, if you have a DS collecting dust, charge that little sucker up and go buy Kirby Canvas Curse now. It's honestly that good.

And if you're a wary consumer, check out IGN's batch of vids, or those over at Gamespot. Great stuff, and makes me salivate w/ anticipation for what is to come.

Meh, I have a 'making-a-lot-of dough-after-not-making-any' problem. Plus, my expenditures elsewhere are minimal. I'm just catching up to where I'd have been a couple months ago.

I also excuse my brash spending frenzy on the fact that I turn 33 in less than four days. I'm good, I'm nice, and goddamn it, I DESERVE it.

I love my DS solely for Warioware. And the only reason I've kept it is because I will be getting Nintendogs (STFU) and Animal Crossing for the online part of it :)

Except for the sports games I have owned nearly every DS game and have tons of GBA games. I love the system but Yoshi for DS (which I still have and wish to sale) was not my type of game. I hear this is alot like it?! I am thinking about taking Wario and Yoshi and trading them in for this.


If I have not mentioned it yet I beat Polarium a few weeks ago. That game owned. I am still playing Mario and Zoo Keeper alot too.

You have to get it, man. The game controls unlike anything before it. Simply a joy to 'touch'. If you don't LOVE Kirby Canvas Curse, I'll buy you a twelve pack of your favorite beer and have it delivered to your door.

It's honestly, and sincerely, a peek at what could very well be coming our way.

I'm eagerly awaiting Meteos, also, btw, and cannot wait for the DS to go fully online.

FYI they got DS hacked. Read more at modojo.

Have you seen or played Yoshi on DS? If so compair it. I will get it tomorrow if its so good. I might be buisy with my newly hacked PSP though.

I haven't played 'Yoshi', but this page at IGN (http://media.ds.ign.com/media/711/711828/vids_1.html) should show you some of what Kirby has to offer.

Sincerely, Brev, you owe it to yourself to at least check this game out. It offers the best of handhelds, the best of platformers, and it's all done w/ your stylus.

There is NO other system that could do this....and it's done SO well.
