UK bought xb360 moving to USA

Will my uk bought Xbox 360 work in the USA on an american tv? Does anyone know??? Someone told me I just need to buy new cables and make sure I have a converter for the power difference - but I need to know for sure. Thanks.

Aren't the TV's over there PAL, like we have NTSC here? That might be a problem in some way. Plus, I bet the 360's DVD drives are region coded too. Meaning you can only play Region free games once you bring it to the states.

I don't know, I could be wrong. For all I know, it could spit out gold coins when you plug it in. But I have this feeling that the whole PAL/NTSC thing, plus the region coding is going to be a bigger issue than finding a proper power adapter.

From what I understand, the xbox 360 is region locked, but certain titles are region free.
