Well I got up a little early this morning to grab this. I loved the PSP and Cell phone versions of this game.
Who else here is getting this?
I want to play some multi player games with this too, I will be back on tonight to play.
Also this was the fastest XBLA DL I have ever had.

I actually made an attempt to download it this morning before work @ around 7:30AM here in Detroit MI.
I kept getting an error message...
Anyone else have this problem?

Got this from another forum... God if true this game is going to be around friggen 50$ w/o someone finding deals on Pnts. This is just super gay since I thought I was buying the *FULL* version. It seems like a dam 1200pnt demo.

And it seems that the Advance Pack (VS CPU Pack) is an extra 600 points.
Xbox Live members can now download 'Lumines Live!' from the Xbox Live Arcade. The full version of this game is 1200 points. In addition, the optional 'Lumines Live! Advance pack is available for download for 600 points.
Edit: The Advance pack will be along at a later date. Sorry about the false alarm, as you can imagine things are moving quickly.
From MajorNelson's site.
What - you didn't think they'd piggy back on it's success when they know people would pay what they paid for the PSP version?

Love the game on my PSP, I play it all the time still when on my trips. If this is how it is then screw it until they can give me one package that contains the COMPLETE game, no optional addon BS.
EDIT: Well, I made a liar out of myself. I purchased the game. Right now just the base pack, but I'll probably get the other as well.

All of the talk about having to buy expansion packs is true. Youd think 15$ for an XBL acrade game would entitle you to a full version but it doesn't. I'll be the first to admit, its the most fun I've had with a non-tetris game since Zoop! back on the N64, but the unlockables are sparse, the live play is quick, sporatic and not very fun, and the fact that I have to pay even more money to unlock stuff is dumb as hell.
For as fun of a game as this is I don't recommend getting it.
