xbox live-cat5 or 6, or wireless

I was wondering if I should get the wireless connection for xbox live. My router is upstairs so i either get the wireless or a 50 foot cable. Which would be faster? Thanx for any help

I'd advise keeping the router connected to your 360 and use wireless for everything else. The adapters are far cheaper on a PC and you'll have a more stable connection when gaming by using Cat5.

What about cat 6. I was thinkin that 6 would be better but if my router isn't at the 6 level it won't matter. Any ideas?

Cat-6 is the same thing as Cat-5. Without getting technical, it just has less interferance, higher MHz and has more twists in the pairs.

It should work fine.
